Living in Rhythm - Planning Life Around Your Cycle

When we begin to understand the natural rhythm of our cycle, we realise it isn’t something to work against, it’s a quiet map guiding when to rest, reflect, create, and connect. Each phase brings its own strengths and sensitivities, and by planning our work, social life, and self-care with these in mind, we move through the month with greater ease and flow.

During the menstrual phase, it’s best to slow down, make space for reflection, and focus on rest or quiet creative planning. As you move into the follicular phase, energy rises. A perfect time for new ideas, brainstorming, and beginning projects. The ovulation phase is often your most social and confident time, ideal for meetings, collaboration, and connection. Then comes the luteal phase, inviting you to wrap up tasks, turn inward, and tend to details before you soften once again into rest.

By aligning your schedule with these natural shifts, life begins to feel more spacious and supported. It is a gentle reminder that productivity and rest can beautifully coexist when we honour the rhythm within.

We honour the women - the mothers, daughters, aunties, and grandmothers - who have carried wisdom and tended to the earth’s cycles. Their footsteps, woven into soil and song, remind us that land itself holds memory, and that care for Country begins in every heart that listens.

We honour the men - the fathers, sons, uncles, and grandfathers - protectors and providers who have stood strong in their care for women, children, and Country.

Together, with the guidance of our families and communities, we have nurtured balance, safeguarded land and life, and continued the sacred responsibility of caring for the world around us
    since the first dawn.
